Community Attendant Services

Community Attendant Services is a non-technical, medically related personal care service that is available to eligible individuals whose health problems cause them to have limitations in performing activities of daily living according to a practitioner’s statement of medical need. CAS personal care tasks are provided by an attendant.

Ask your Agent to provide assistance. NOTE: Beneficiary can not be receiving Extra Help and/or Medicare Savings Program.
Family Care is a nonskilled, nontechnical attendant care service that is available to eligible individuals who have functional limitations caused by age, disability or medical problems. FC provides assistance with activities of daily living and is delivered by an attendant. Services provided do not require an attendant to have professional or technical training.
